Click any furniture item in the left panel to place it at the room center. Drag items to reposition them. Use the Rotate button or press R to spin an item 90°.
Switch to Draw Shape mode to trace a custom room outline — click to place each corner, then click the first dot or press Finish to close the polygon.
Add more floors with the + Room / + Yard / + Balcony buttons. Each floor has its own palette, wall color, and floor material.

Common mistakes to avoid
- ✕Forgetting door swing clearance — a standard door needs at least 36 inches of clear arc in front of it. Use the Doors & Windows feature to visualize this.
- ✕Placing furniture too close to walls — allow 18–24 inches of clearance around beds and seating so drawers and doors can open fully.
- ✕Not checking the 3D view — items that look fine in the top-down layout may block windows or feel cramped in the actual 3D perspective.
